This month, the Stravillia Sustainability Hub team visited Quake – Lisbon Earthquake Museum as part of our Occupational Health and Safety program. This initiative arose in response to the earthquake that struck Lisbon in August 2024, and aimed to provide a practical and immersive experience that would help us better understand this phenomenon and prepare for future events.

The choice of the visit date was intentional: November 5 is the International Day for Tsunami Awareness, promoted by the United Nations, and coincides with the National Day for Seismic Risk Awareness, organized by ANPC.
In an interactive experience that transported us back to November 1, 1755, this visit was, in addition to being an excellent educational initiative, also a teambuilding opportunity, where we collectively experienced a part of Portugal’s history and discussed how we can prepare and act in the event of an earthquake.

At Stravillia, we aim to combine learning with enriching and dynamic experiences. We will continue to promote initiatives like this, which raise awareness of safer behaviors and allow us to grow while having fun.
