The 2nd Sustainability Report of Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa is now available! 🌍✨
A leading Portuguese higher education institution, Iscte takes an important step in its journey toward integrating ESG practices, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable action, responsible presence, and transparent governance.
Stravillia Sustainability Hub had the privilege of supporting the team throughout this journey, from defining the material topics, resulting from the double materiality analysis process that involved contributions from various stakeholder groups, to providing support in the reporting process, following the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines.
The aim was to highlight the institution’s role in promoting a culture of quality and sustainability. The result is an interactive and user-friendly document that reflects the institution’s commitment to responsible and sustainable practices, reinforcing the role of the academic community in building a more balanced and inclusive future, as demonstrated by the initiatives carried out in 2023 and 2024.
🌱 The launch of this second 2023/2024 Sustainability Report was part of Iscte’s 2025 Sustainability Week, in which Stravillia took part, represented by Francisco Neves, who contributed to the topic “From materiality to reporting”, along with Graciete Silva and Ana Amendoeira Cabral, who supported this process.
We celebrate the organizations that embrace this challenge, showing that every step counts towards building a fairer and more sustainable future.
