The Stravillia Team Celebrated Christmas and the Spirit of Sharing

#StravilliaCelebrates | Last Monday (18/12/2023), the Stravillia Team celebrated Christmas and the Spirit of Sharing. 🌲
In the morning, we carried out a volunteering activity at the PER 11 Residents’ Association, in Alta de Lisboa. The activity began with group dynamics so that the young people from the Association and the Stravillia Team could get to know each other better. Afterwards, we rolled up our sleeves and cleaned a plot of land and a flowerbed near the Association, as part of a project aimed at developing a community horticulture space. Then, to promote the Christmas spirit and a sense of unity among the PER 11 Residents, Stravillia supported the preparation of Christmas wreaths to be placed on the doors of the 15 buildings in the neighbourhood. We wrapped up the activity with a guided tour of the area, led by the young people of PER 11.
The afternoon was dedicated to the Christmas Lunch, where we shared personal Christmas traditions and memories through an activity prepared by the Team.
And because Christmas is not only about asking, but also about gratitude, each colleague received a Gratitude Jar, encouraging everyone to practise gratitude regularly. We often tend to focus on negative situations; however, with just a moment of reflection, we can quickly identify many things to be thankful for, family, friends, work, health, or simply living in a country at peace. Remembering how fortunate we are and feeling grateful opens the door for more good things to flow into our lives, helping us appreciate meaningful moments, inspiring people, and positive actions even more. This Christmas, we challenge everyone to do the same. 😀
