#StravilliaCelebrates | International Human Rights Day, established by the United Nations (UN), marks its 75th anniversary today. This day was set by the UN General Assembly on 4 December 1950 to celebrate the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on 10 December 1948.
Of its 30 articles, we highlight the 1st: “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.”
Seventy-five years after its adoption, we live in a fragmented, fast-paced, and polarized world, where opinions are increasingly extreme. Today’s observance is therefore particularly meaningful, reminding us of the inherent rights of every human being sharing this planet. It is essential to remember and ensure these rights are upheld. Companies play a key role in this, and for Stravillia Sustainability Hub, its mission is to give the future back to people and the planet.
