Training session on “Sustainable Development Goals, Introduction to the S in ESG and Certifications” for Mercan Properties

🎓✨ On 4 June, Stravillia Sustainability Hub led the training session “Sustainable Development Goals, Introduction to the S in ESG and Certifications” for Mercan Properties.
Throughout the day, we explored essential topics such as the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda, the social pillar of ESG (focusing on Human Rights, value chain Due Diligence, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Community Engagement), as well as organisational purpose and sustainability certifications.
🌍 This training was also an opportunity to step outside the classroom and learn from the community. We visited the Urban Art Gallery in Bairro do Zambujal, as part of the Zambujal 360° Project, had lunch at a local restaurant, and ended the day with a visit to the Day Centre of Santa Casa da Misericórdia da Amadora — who kindly welcomed us into their space.
