🌍Ubuntu Servant Leadership Workshop🌍

On 21 August 2025, we had the privilege of delivering a workshop with the candidates for Miss Cape Verdean – Portugal, led by Helder Delgado, MSc, Eng. and Isabel Fernandes.
Within the Ubuntu philosophy, “I am because you are”, we found inspiration to cultivate servant leadership, to dream collectively and to give strength to ideas born from our interdependence.
From the conversations and exercises, seeds for the future emerged:
🌱 Protection of children who are victims of violence
🌱 Empowerment of Cape Verdean women
🌱 School support and access to educational materials
🌱 Inclusion of children with disabilities
🌱 A world without wars, with peace and dignity
🌱 Less poverty and more job opportunities
🌱 Affordable food for all
🌱 A safe, healthy and fair environment for future generations
More than a beauty pageant, this is a true empowerment programme for Cape Verdean women, creating space for each candidate to discover herself as a leader, an agent of change and an inspiration within her community.
